This last Thursday I had the privilege of immortalizing a gathering at Malibu Wines. The event was put together to celebrate a startup company that goes by the name of GO GOOD. Founders James Gilbert and Nicolette Rankin have a mission to Build the world's largest community of givers to close the gap between the world we have and the world we want. In other words, they are in the business of connecting large financial donors to the right charities. This event was to celebrate the people who've already done business with them and to continue spreading the word about this amazing undertaking.
The stage was set atop the hilly campground of the property at Malibu Wines. It was an open bar that offered the different varieties of wine available there. Guests were prompted to come dressed in all white. Thankfully the SOCAL heat wave had already begun to subside.
Among the attendees and active supporters of Go Good was Ex Prime Minister of Haiti, Laurent Lamothe. He announced that they would be hosting a lecture type presentation the day after in Venice where GoGood headquarters are located. Many other business moguls shared in the festivities that afternoon.
